The Tower of Glenstrae was built in 1895 as a Gentleman's residence, in the Scottish Baronial style. It is situated at the eastern end of Loch Awe and overlooks Kilchurn Castle, commanding magnificent views in all directions.

The lounge has all the original Arts & Crafts wood paneling incorporating stained glass either side of the open fire. The chesterfield leather suite, Black Watch Tartan carpet, stags head and antiques all contribute to a traditional luxurious Scottish atmosphere.

The entrance hall is welcoming and is dominated by a beautiful pitch pine staircase, suit of Armour and cathedral glass glazing.
